Let me think about... the "Sherlock"
Usually rather popular things are thought to have no hidden meaning or rather good things are not popular enough. I`m going to take sometimes some of them for a discussion.

James Bond has many faces, the Doctor has them too, and also the great Sherlock Holmes. Here`s the new one.

У Джеймса Бонда много лиц, у Доктора тоже, а также и у великого Шерлока Холмса. Вот еще одно, новое.
Yes, I know. The actor is too young for this role, he is taken just for us, girls, to make us watch it. But isn`t he good?

Да, я знаю. Актер слишком молод для такой роли, его взяли для нас, девочек, чтобы мы смотрели сериал. Но неужели игра его не хороша?
Yes, I also like when the character is "dancing", running, playing games with me... and long coats. Oh, they drive me crazy! But that`s not the point. The point is that I want to read Arthur Connan Doyle`s Sherlock more than I did before. If that was the purpose - congratulations - you won!

Да, мне тоже нравится, когда герой "танцует", бежит, играет со мной в игры... и длинные пальто. О, они сводят меня с ума! Но не в этом дело. Дело в том, что сейчас мне больше хочется почитать Холмса Коннан Дойля, чем раньше. Если это была цель - поздравляю - это победа!
I took it again because have new thoughts.
Why do I like this character? a) This is the man, who really do live. He doesn`t waste his time, his mind, what others do. b) He knows his job, he found a place for him long long time ago. I tried to find out how. He was born with a talent or I still don`t know. But I need to know, because I want to find my place too.

Почему мне так нравится этот герой? а) Это человек, который действительно живет. Он не прожигает своё время, свой ум, что делают другие.б) Он знает свою работу, он давным-давно нашел свое место. Я пыталась выяснить как. Либо у него прирожденный талант, либо я так и не знаю. Но мне нужно знать, потому что я тоже хочу найти свое место.

Немного о культуре.
Ночные новости. Сюжет о режиссёре Станиславе Говорухине - прекрасный режиссёр, а ещё и художник, которому исполняется 75 и т.д. Показывают выставку его картин, говорят, что он теперь почетный член академии художников, картины прекрасные, человек талантлив во всем...
Ну посмотрите на эти картины. Ну кто-то наверняка учился в художественной школе, видел, как рисуют другие по крайней мере... Ну неужели не видно, что даже заикнуться, что эти картины хорошие, нельзя. Плоские цвета без переходов, отношений, теней, отсутствие объема и души - не есть показатель хорошей работы. И я не говорю, что мне не нравится, что он рисует. Мне не нравится, что в выпуске новостей показывают эти картины, говорят, что они - великолепные. Мне не нравится ложь.
